In praise of joining groups - Baby Monkey

There are some shops out there that have group joins that require a fee. They are different amounts and we all have to decide if it's worth it to us to pay that fee to join that group. There are some groups that I think are very worth paying the fee, and this one... is about to have a free join weekend where the usual $250L joining fee will not be applied.

Here's the benefits:

1) Regular and generous group gifts.

 

This is a pic of the current group gift wall at Baby Monkey. The shop sells clothing and shoes and occasionally home decor items.  Be advised also that this shop uses a vendor system so the way group gifts work is that you pay it 1L and then it refunds it to you when it gives you the gift. And you must be wearing the group tag of course.

2) Great prices and refunds on purchases after you've purchased a certain amount. It goes in increments of 5, 10 and 15 percent. Baby Monkey now sells everything in fatpacks of 32 colors, shoes and boots are 300L a pack, clothing items are 150L a pack. But wait, there's more!

3) Group members get all new releases at half price for one week. That's right. Pay 150L for a fatpack of shoes or boots, or 75L for a fatpack of clothing items the first week after release.

4) And as I said at the beginning of the post, Baby Monkey is having a free group joining weekend just a little more than a week from now which means you will be able to join the group, get all these great benefits and not have to pay anything to join. And there will be a new fatpack gift, guaranteed.

 

As it says there, the group gift wall will be cleared before the free join weekend but these new ankle boots will be offered to those joining then. And in my experience so far, the owner gives generously and often.  So mark your calendars and don't forget to make room for this group in your list.
